Joe Johnston, el director, ha desvelado que el viaje del héroe comienza en la segunda guerra mundial, mirando al cómic de los años 60 y 70, para después optar por la visión mas moderna del cómic actual en el desarrollo de la trama.

Drácula: Year zero

Con esta noticia se confirman dos cosas. La primera, que esta versión del mito que será dirigida por Alex Proyas está en marcha y, segunda, Sam Worthington podría confirmar su papel protagonista del film afianzándolo como una de las estrella actuales del cine de grandes presupuestos y de aventuras.


Furia de titanes

Parece que finalmente si se estrenará en 3D en los cines. Warner lo quiso así después de alucinar con Avatar y así será. Pero ojo. No es un 3dstereo real, sino una adaptación al formato ya que el rodaje fue el habitual y no en 3Dstereo nativo como ocurría en Avatar. Entiendo que las diferencias serán notables.
Otro dato, posiblemente se retrase el estreno una semana en Usa, fijaándose ahora para el 2 de Abril.
Esperemos que confirmen desde Warner todo el jaleo que se está montando con el asunto.

La película que iba a dirigir Brad Bird y Pixar con este segundo proyecto de imagen real podría quedarse en el limbo. Narraría los hechos históricos del enorme terremoto y sus réplicas que asolo la ciudad de San Francisco en el año del título. Y es que Warner está asustada con las proporciones del proyecto y lo mucho que costaría sacarla adelante jugandose un buen puñado de dólares. Inicialmente presupuestado en 200$ millones.
Esperemos que si se arriesguen y den luz verde algún día.

Maleficent

Parece ser que Tim Burton estaría interesado en continuar versionando clásicos después de Alicia y le tendría echado el ojo a La bella durmiente. En este caso, la historia se centraria mas en la bruja de la película que en la guapa muchacha a despertar por el príncipe. Claro, se pasa dormida toda la película!. Vale, un chiste malo.
En fin, veremos cuanto tarda el propio Burton en aclarar, desmentir o incluso confirmar. Yo no lo veo claro.

Digital Domain será la encargada principal de crear los efectos visuales para esta prometedora versión dirigida por Kenneth Branagh.
DD ganó el año pasado el oscar por su trabajo en El curioso caso de Benjamin Button y, a finales de este año, se estrenará Tron Legacy donde su equipo técnico se está volcando para traer a las pantallas nuevas innovaciones tecnológicas.

John Carter de Marte


Finalmente, y después de muchos derechos adquiridos y proyectos abandonados, ha comenzado el rodaje de la película en Londres. Andrew Stanton y un buen número de gente de Pixar trabajando a destajo para que disfrutemos de Marte en el 2012. Recordemos que Pixar es productora de la película y que los efectos visuales corren a cargo de empresa ubicadas en la capital inglesa. De momento, confirmada Double Negative. Por tanto, el CGI no sale de la casa de John Lasseter
Lo dicho, se puso en marcha.
